Sourdough Pancakes

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sourdough starter
  • 4 Tbls melted butter, lard or coconut oil
  • 2 Tbls sweetener rapadura, honey, maple syrup, mashed bananas or a pinch of stevia powder
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Tbls arrowroot powder or shredded coconut
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 Tbls arrowroot powder or shredded coconut
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
Instructions
  1. Preheat cast iron frying pan.
  2. Mix together all of the ingredients in a large bowl. If the batter seems a bit thick then add a little water or milk.
  3. Pour batter into medium heat frying pan and cook for about 2 minutes per side.
